Chief Operating Officer and Human Resource Manager of Cheney Financial Group

The Cheney Financial Group—comprised of Cheney Insurance, Newcastle Realty, and Newcastle Vacation Rentals—has been proudly owned and operated by the Hilton family for over 50 years. Today, Hannah Hilton carries this legacy forward, leading the organization into a new generation of service and community stewardship. As Chief Operating Officer and director of human resources for all three companies, she also spearheads the Cheney Financial Group’s charitable initiatives through its Charitable Giving and Community Outreach Committee.

A graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in public administration, Hannah brings a diverse skill set to her leadership role. She is a licensed insurance agent, an Associate Broker in real estate, and certified in Human Resource Management. Her multifaceted expertise, paired with a calm and thoughtful leadership style, enables her to navigate the day-to-day complexities of the business while supporting both employees and clients with empathy and clarity. Hannah shares that becoming a mother has only deepened her understanding and strengthened her commitment to cultivating a supportive, people-centered workplace.

Rooted in the Midcoast, Hannah now lives in Lincoln County with her husband and their three children. Beyond her work with the Cheney Financial Group, she is actively involved in the community and enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
